Legend of Hadjidraganov’s Cellars!
In 1866 a century ago Hadji Dragan, a trader
of wool and silk lived in Sofia and four great houses built.
Each with a style from different region of Bulgaria (Melnik,
Koprivshtitza, Zheravna, Bansko). Now it’s a famous restaurant
“Hadjidraganov’s Houses”. In his famous cellars there was
wine from vineyards all over the country.
Only few were people entered into the HADJIDRAGANOV’S CELLARS.
While entering inside, silence, a smell of old barrels and
a coolness met the special guests. Barrels ordered in long
lines could be seen in twilight of kerosene lamps. Selected
bottles lay in straw in wine racks.
Now the Restaurant HADJIDRAGANOV’S CELLARS
welcomes you with it’s traditional bulgarian food cooked on
fire, hot plate and in an oven. You can choose a wine from
different regions all over Bulgaria.
